On the phone today I rediscovered  the concept of loosening up ! I learned in our mountaintop workshop in California how much fun it can be to wet the entire page before beginning to paint. When you touch the brush to the page, miracles happen and it’s just so satisfying. I think this is my favorite kind of painting , just loosening up and letting the paint do it’s thing. So great to recapture this wonderful and easy kind of play. (CW)
